The question is can we survive until enough people wake up...

"Liberal bubble" when half the posts I see here are from conservatives that choose country over party...
It's not a liberal bubble. Its a reality bubble.

I know people currently living in LA, people that work there and people from there.
I have only heard good things about LA

It should be illegal but the SCOTUS says it isn't and until that changes no president should be punishing anyone

So I looked it up and the first thing I saw in a headline was AI.
I laughed and skipped the bullshit.

Is it anything like every CEO talking about the wonders of "AI"? That shit is getting real old.

Trump has never had a legitimate business make a profit. Even in tgier twisted view of the world he is a bad potus.

"we don't want them here"
I wonder if that is what any of those people said about us when we bombed them... or sponsored bombing them.

People decided Trump was a hood idea twice. People are easily manipulated and it's easier to manipulate when you are rich and have endless connections from decades in office.

You should not be in a spot to decide how the world will look in 20 years if you have less than a 15% chance of seeing the outcomes.
That includes SCOTUS, POTUS, and all of Congress.
Climate change is expected to start getting bad by 2050. Most of our government will be 15 years dead by then.

And Bernie is an exception. I have met a few people in thier 80s and 90s that are still sharp. But sharp as they where in thier 30s?
And at that age the chances of it all ending very quickly is much higher. Who would you bet on for a major cardio event? 40s chubster or 80s active grandapa?
comment in response to

Omg how dare you say people that old shouldn't be in power in a country where we outright ban those positions for everyone before thier mid thirties!
Seriously though before 30 people are like green bananas. By 70 most are over ripe an by 80 mush.
"But some arent!" Yeah some 30yr old is wise so.

This one feels a lot like a recap/setup the next story kind of a book. Seems like a lot of filler. I still enjoy it because I love the world and characters. Still waiting for the stuff that has been hinted at several times since book 4.

If it happened then there has to be a reason he didn't press charges because that is the kind of thing Elon would do... and send his attack dogs on twitter after him.
Probably on drugs and fully had it coming so he couldn't report him.

My local rural public school used to offer welding, CAD/drafting, home economics, art, etc and funding was cut for all of it.
The school was able to fight for funding and begin rebuilding music and shop programs but they lost all of the equipment built up over decades when funding was cut

He lies like a toddler. Things no sane adult would lie about and yet they act like it's fine.
They wouldn't stop talking about how old Biden was but for some reason Trump gets a pass because he started out stupid?

Personally I find it interesting that leeches and maggots are the two very old and messed up way of treating things that ended up having real medical applications.

And of the insanely old people in government how many are even close to as in touch with normal people as Bernie is?
If everyone 70+ acted like him no one would care but the rest of fossils in government are less than useless

The internet I'd acseries of tube's.
And that boys and girls is why old people should not be in congress... or potus... or scotus.

These people need to be able to pick the experts put in charge of running the things that make the world work.
If someone can't figure out a smartphone do you think they will be able to pick a cyber security expert? Or even understand why one is needed?
comment in response to

Based on the fact that most people 70+ are out of touch with everything is enough reason to not be voting them into office.
"But xyz is 75 and he knows and is an expert at abc"
That's nice but a lifetime as an expert in ONE area isn't helpful to generalized positions like congressman.

Pretty sure these people calling themselves "journalists" is a sin. It's thier job to make sure the past 15 years didn't happen.
They murdered Facts for personal gain.

And somehow the media was only concerned with Bidens health.
At least Biden started with a sharp mind. Trump started out as an idiot before any decline.

I watched that just because I wanted to hear the old HBO theme. I'm not old enough to remember this intro but I knew that music would be there.

I know that teachers love my kid because of his brain rot. "He isn't afraid of being a kid" is a direct quote from his 6th grade home room teacher.
