How do you define ‘fringe leftist’? I keep hearing this ‘both sides’ equation of MAGA & ‘fringe leftists’, but mostly just see MAGA everywhere- in my town, in the media, gov’t, etc. Who/where are the fringe leftists?

If people want to stop Cuomo from winning the primary, local groups are encouraging voters to rank five candidates for mayor who aren't Cuomo—don't even put him in the last slot. A rank counts as a vote. Pass it on!

Except they know it’s a scam, have insider info/connections & will have cashed in & hoovered up all the real assets before it crashes.

Thanks @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social ….. and also interesting how quiet you’ve been about Cuomo, after what you did to Franken.

All owned by Blackrock, surveilled by Palantir, hyper-policed by over-funded goons…. Your ‘compliance/trust’ score drops too much because of a comment, etc, or someone powerful decides they just don’t like you, & you’re ‘removed’
The new American dream.

The resources the government is using to brutalize people in the streets prove to everyone that the US has the money to give everyone health insurance, make sure no one goes hungry, build more housing, and pay for education

Now's a good time to familiarize yourself with how to treat chemical burns, tear gas (water for eyes, soap and water for skin). We're going to need street medics #MedSky 🩺 please help if you can.

Ppl don’t grasp lg ###. Here’s one- if you saved $100k/year you’d be a millionaire in 10yrs… at that rate it takes 10,000 yrs to reach a billion. (don’t @ about comp interest, this is about scale)

And by ‘make a deal’ you mean just end up right back where things were before (plus, OFC, all the econ damage & destruction the yo-yo manipulation has caused..)

And WTF do people think this massive buildout is going to be used for when all the ‘illegals’ have been purged (& the country has been turned into someplace nobody wants to go to)…?

Take it from an American in Hungary: You need to be protesting NOW. You need to be calling your reps NOW. It is not enough to vote, this WILL require your action.
Every day you delay, every minute you hesitate will make it exponentionally harder to reverse this in the future.

Maybe opposition should pivot from the MAGA framing of this being about ‘toys’- how about your kid’s school backpack.. shoes.. clothes..? This ‘maybe fewer toys’ BS is deflection/minimization of the huge econ pain/damage coming.

US bike industry Is recreation & trend-driven, while a good part of the EU industry is built on practical utility. Heck, could kinda say that about everything to do with transport, US v EU…

For a significant segment it’s more base & banal- they think he’s ‘funny’/entertaining (& he speaks at their level) & they didn’t like Harris’ laugh/race & see it all as TV show/team sports without real consequence (to them, at least).

Only in our poorly designed winner-takes-all political structure. Proportional representation, a parliamentary arrangement, etc, something requiring coalitionism would’ve produced a diff result (& poss more reflective of the actual breadth of US culture)

Call the Capitol switchboard (202) 224-3121) every day and ask:
Why isn’t my Senator/Representative calling to impeach?
You swore to defend the Constitution.
We got a dictator problem.
The concentration camps are here.
Shout “Impeach!”
All together.
Every day.

It's remarkable to watch soldiers of this system yelling "we have gone too far left" in the only rich Western country that doesn't have basic health care, paid parental leave, free college education, etc. etc. and people actually consider if that could be true. That's how brainwashed Americans are.
