The hate will just move elsewhere. I've already seen a viral video of a landlord saying he's been offered above market rate by Serco or a similar contractor to house asylum seekers. So the complaint will shift to 'they're taking all the rental homes from the rest of us'

My X260 is supposed to last about 9 hours with both the internal and smaller of the two external batteries, but now only lasts about 2 to 3. Sounds like the issue for both of us is just old batteries. I've seen a replacement external one for about £50 though so might get one to try soon

They were truly awful. In theory she had flexi time, but in practice, no matter how early she started, some whole-team meeting would be put in from 3-5:30pm most afternoons. Thankfully nowadays she is secure enough in her role that she wouldn't stand for such things

My poor partner worked at a tiny desk squashed in the corner of the living room, with her boss scheduling extra long meetings because "you've got nowhere else to be". Meanwhile I drove empty buses around town before I was put on furlough for ten weeks and watched Twitch streams for hours on end 🤷♂️

It just irritates me that he thinks that stuff will be remotely successful. Same old talking points that people have been hearing their whole lives (often with limited success) when what the electorate was screaming for was some new thinking. Why not be honest with people about trying new things?
