Also, the idea of the Spook sharing a bathroom with her cracked me up. She gets up and brushes her teeth next to this inscrutable eldritch horror every morning. It felt absurd in the sense that it also felt right.

So I gave her a nice room, but also one that's mostly colorless, cause that felt right. She can't have too nice of a bathroom, after all.

So here we have her doing her daily routine, with nearly soulless eyes and a generally unpleasant aura. I had to think a lot about what her bathroom would look like - after all, if she's getting paid good money to do this, surely she's got a nice bathroom to do her daily prep in?

The implication I got is that she's normally a bit of a husk, going through her business life with all the joy and energy of a shed cicada shell. After all, need I remind you that even her serial killer mask has eyebags?

I could honestly write an essay on each corner of this drawing. It started with the thought that we mostly only see her depicted as angry in fanart - and frankly, I think this is a disservice to the character.

FR tho, I'm obsessed with her. She's so weirdly relatable as someone that also used to care way too much about whether or not my art was successful. Those thoughts will drive you insane.
