So excited to be working on a special little project for a cause close to my heart. linktr.ee/lazzislegacy #Watercolour, Microns and white Posca on hot press paper, size A5 #art #artsky #birdart #budgie

Superb lyrebird - The Thousand Steps, Tremont Shot on Nikon D700 + Tamron 70-200 f2.8 Di VC October '17 Hearing a Lyrebird in the eastern Vic mountains is fairly common, seeing one is much more rare. Was a wonderful experience to encounter this one while doing a walk up the thousand steps.

Superb Fairy Wren - Cherry Lake Reserve, Altona Shot on Nikon Z FC + Nikon Z 55-250 f4.5-6.3 VR December '22 Just a bunch of little guys tbh. Love me some wrens tho, cute af.

Look for the crestus! I'm at Kaicon Pop Up Artist Alley at MCEC Melbourne all weekend. Support small artists and makers! @kaigaconvention.bsky.social #birdart #fanart

Meiji Jingu Consecrated Sake Barrels - Shibuya, Japan Shot on Olympus E-P5 + Olympus 14-42 F3.5-5.6 EZ September '16 An oldie but a goodie. I miss Japan a lot, and even after having traveled there twice, still have a lot of the country left to see.

Southern Two Thumb range - Viewed from Lake Tekapo, New Zealand Shot on Nikon Z FC + Nikon 24-120 F4 S July '23 New Zealand is an incredibly picturesque country. Can't wait to go back one day. I have so much of it left to see.

I'll be at the Melbourne Kaicon 2025 Pop Up Artist Alley this weekend, Feb 8-9th at the MCEC. Look out for cute birbs at Table c18! This expo is dedicated entirely to artists and small businesses. Drop in to support your local makers! Tickets at door and online @kaigaconvention.bsky.social

Brown Falcon - Grampians National Park Shot on Nikon Z FC + Tamron 150-600mm September '24 Coming home from camping, I noticed this somewhat wet lad sitting on a fence. They were fairly skittish, so couldn't get as close as I wanted, but managed to get one reasonable shot at least.

God help me, I got balatro on mobile. This was my 3rd or 4th game. Thanks Roffle for the hours of content on my 2nd monitor that led to this.

Pink Breasted Robin - The Redwoods Otways Shot on Nikon Z FC + Tamron 150-600mm June '24 Spent an hour sitting on a muddy riverbank watching this guy flutter around until he was comfortable enough to be landing a few meters away.

WIP ⚠️

Some slightly different content. One of my multiple too expensive hobbies is keyboards. This is the Treadstone48 I put together early last year. It's a super weird little board that always attracts attention at the office. ePBT x GOK Kuro/Shiro R3 + GMK Mecha 01 keycaps Neo Linear White switches

I know there's a other post that's going around, but please refer to this article for more detailed steps on how to separate from meta.

I'm not in a country directly affected by the recent American leadership change, but that doesn't mean this isn't true and that there aren't still issues in my country. Trans rights are human rights.

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!
