It's mathematically impossible to support removing 9 million people without "horrific" stuff. It's baked into the math. But then Rogan is the patron saint of math illiteracy.

Juries are also notoriously deferential to the testimony of cops. And it's quite a lot easier and cheaper to get a cop to lie to a jury.

It would be nice if participation in the "strategic grassroots resistance" extended somehow to include the party leadership.

The government will go ahead and explain the deals to the jury under direct examination of their witnesses in an attempt to repair the witness's credibility. But the defense will absolutely challenge that under cross.
comment in response to

The government will seek to portray it to the jury as unrelated to the content of the testimony. That'll be up to the jury.

Yes. In all likelihood (should the case get that far with these witnesses) under direct examination the government itself will deliver an exposition of the favorable treatment given in exchange for testimony in an attempt to soft peddle.

This is an entirely ridiculous reformulation of the Fourth Ammendment.
Ignore this.
As a United States citizen you enjoy the protection of our laws. And any arrest must be supported by probable cause, not mere suspicion, and not ignorace. All police must have probable cause supported by evidence.

"California" was a state of Mexico until 1848.
Some of those folks whose names end with a "z" have Spanish and Mexican family and cultural ties to that area that date to before the United States of America even existed.

A lot of commercial real estate is held in pooled mortgage portfolios financed by pass-through certificates (like bonds). The ratings of the bonds depend on the Debt Service Coverage Ratio. If rents are ever allowed to fall the ratings collapse.

I suppose it would be significantly easier for an incumbent Republican to "rig things" if he first were to unlawfully seize control of the National Guard in a Democratic state with 54 electoral votes and then take over that state's elections citing an "emergency".
For example.

For me it was much simpler. I was just thirteen and the message was delivered to me in a whisper before a roaring fire as the "admonition" of the Order of the Arrow.

"Reagan’s shining city wasn’t a partisan construct."
That's right. It wasn't. It was a malaprop. Winthrop offered the metaphor as a caution and a warning to the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

Just always keep in mind, and point out at every opportunity, that when he was caught red handed with an active Ashley Madison account he threw his own 13-year-old son under the bus.
That's a distilled character definition of a very terrible human being unworthy of anyone's respect.

This is not at all surprising to me. The thing to appreciate is that while an LLM might have been trained in the difference between a "lie" and the "truth", an LLM is simply not capable of formulating a moral framework to distinguish between the two. So absolutely, a sociopath. All algorithms are.

Once again, it is entirely incorrect to describe this as "detainment". This was an arrest insofar as federal courts have defined it. And it matters because the predicate legal threshhold supporting arrest is much more restrictive. Do not surrender in advance.

If you had written “Dow 36,000” in 1999 you'd avoid giving straight answers too. The Dow closed at 10,273.00 on the day of the book's publication on October 1, 1999, peaked at 11,722.98 105 days later, then declined 37.8% through October 9, 2002.

You misspelled "arrested".
By every common legal understanding, and as repeatedly articulated by federal courts, when someone has been physically restrained and handcuffed by law enforcement they are arrested. It's important because the standards justifying detention and arrest are different.

There are two, and only two threshold entry exceptions to the Fourth Amendment. They are exigent circumstances and clearly expressed consent. Neither exist here. A mandatory "safety check" of your home or private office is not a thing at all in a free country.

"Normie Republican" voters have learned, after more than eight years of having it explained to them, that all their failures to protect democracy and the Constitution can always be blamed on AOC, Al Sharpton or the nearest Clinton.
You should have been condemning Republican voters eight years ago.
