It's not just the bugs tho is it? It's all the spyware and telemetry tracking.. Would be nice to have an alternative to leaving it up to the tech bro's to not abuse us and our data..

Praries... though given recent events DEPRESS might be more contemporary...

Brilliant. So on point.

"Listen against" is still one of my all time favourites. Most chuckleworthy!
comment in response to post
It's straight out of 1984. Doublespeak. "Free speech" now means the right to tell blatant lies & not get challenged. I can't see how this is helpful to anyone. Unless you actually want to lie with impunity.

If they start saying they've given the contract to Palantir, we're all 'the product' now..
comment in response to post
Didn't you get the memo? We're done with facts. It's just bluster and pungent opinions from here on in..

Apparently it's OK to publish lies like these, but Liz Truss sent a cease and desist letter to stop Kier Starmer saying she crashed the economy? Truth twisters? Yeah..

I always find a joke has gone especially well when you have to point out you were just trying to be funny.

I started raving in '91. It was all hardcore breakbeat back then, so they're all subgenres of that I guess.. See, this is how arguments start & before you know it you've bought twitter and turned it into a hellscape 😅
comment in response to post
Yup, exactly that. We all love DnB. Just don't ask which genre is the best and we'll get along just fine 😘
comment in response to post
Love it! Was that an Alex Horne cameo? 😂
comment in response to post
I heard it instantly!

What? No carrier pigeons?

Without corroboration it's not a reliable result and may be easily explained by their methodology being at fault. That's why peer review is so important. Anyone can go around claiming anything they like, but it's not science until it's been replicated and confirmed.

I read the article you posted. They found the SV40 promoter (that you agree there is no consensus whether it causes cancer or not) using fluorimetry at 10x permissible levels. They did not find the same using the MUCH MORE SENSITIVE qPCR. Their results don't even correlate with their own methods.

"Preprints and early-stage research may not have been peer reviewed yet" Let me know when it's been published.
comment in response to post
No, it would need to be in a peer reviewed journal with a decent impact factor or come from a reputable news source. Thats it. As you can provide neither I bid you enjoy that lovely day I suggested
comment in response to post
I'm not going to bother to debunk a bunch of tweets and unsubstantiated accusations on a substack. This is not evidence.

You've provided me with none of what I asked, and this is a senate report into the polio vaccine from the 60's? Is this your smoking gun? Science has come a long way in 60+ years. Millions are alive today because of smallpox eradication, some of them even lived long enough to get cancer. 👍
comment in response to post
Can it? Can I have the evidence you're referring to? I'm assuming it's in a properly peer reviewed journal with a decent impact factor?
comment in response to post
Thanks for your assertions about the FDA. FYI That's not my regulatory agency. Not everyone lives in the US.
comment in response to post
Where's your evidence for this? It also contradicts your earlier statement.. "Taken together, these findings do not support the hypothesis that SV40 virus contained in polio vaccines administered before 1963 caused cancers."
comment in response to post
This table makes no sense to me..
comment in response to post
Placebo controls wouldn't have changed anything you've cited. I don't believe in fairies, I believe in properly designed studies, regulations and controls. If you think the lack of regulation is at fault, lobby for better regulation 🤷
comment in response to post
Placebo control is irrelevant in vaccination testing. The point is to identify treatments that cause harm or don't work.. Placebo controls wouldn't improve safety.
comment in response to post
Naturally, liquid vaccine will migrate into the tissues from the injection site. The point is how far and how much. There is virtually no increase in intramuscular pressure as a result of the volumes used in a vaccination though..
comment in response to post
No, you couldn't. Air embolism requires a significant volume, IV.. Vaccination volumes are TINY and we're not talking about injecting air anyway...

I 💯 agree there should be more money available for fundamental research. In a capitalised society money rules, but there are grants available from charitable bodies for just about every kind of research. You're not going to read about it in Vaxxed or The Irish Light though.
comment in response to post
Do you know how much intramuscular pressure 150 microlitres of fluid exerts? Virtually none.
comment in response to post
Design the study, get the funding, publish the results. It's how it works.
comment in response to post
Regulatory testing. Whats your requirement?
comment in response to post
They're not given intravenously though are they? they're given intramuscularly.
comment in response to post
Injecting and ingesting are not the same. We agree! It doesn't mean vaccines and their adjuvants aren't well tested and safe though.
comment in response to post
No personal attacks here, I just disagree with your premise. Vaccines are safe and continually proven to be so 🤷 Have that lovely day I mentioned earlier.
comment in response to post
Your argument is based on a false premise. The testing was done with injected thiomersal. I don't know why we're discussing injecting sandwiches.
comment in response to post
No personal attacks from this side. You suggested I didn't know the difference between injecting and ingesting a sandwich. I kind of zoned out at that point..
comment in response to post
You mean this dude? "Richet devoted many years to the study of paranormal and spiritualist phenomena, coining the term "ectoplasm". He believed in the inferiority of black people, was a proponent of eugenics, and presided over the French Eugenics Society towards the end of his life."
comment in response to post
At micro, micro, pico, femto doses.. If it wasn't safe, it wouldn't pass regulation.
comment in response to post
Ok, I can see we're doing kindergarten stuff. Philosophy this is not. Yes you're 100% right. Have a lovely day!
