"Flow" won the Oscar for Best Animated Film ♡

I just sent an Instagram message and after I sent it a prompt popped up “Tap to imagine with AI” … Disrespectfully, what the hell are you talking about

I finished a draft of my short story today, clicking in around 3800 words. I’ll be submitting it to an anthology about cryptids. It has been really fun to play with, and I’m proud to have a completed draft. Deadline is the end of this month, so I’ll do a little polishing between now and then!

Vance is going to get excommunicated to own the libs

I watched Flow and it is beautiful, poignant, and filled with awe. The animation is astonishing, and there’s so much personality in the animals’ movement. I hope it wins all its awards.

KNOBS AND CRANKS KNOBS AND CRANKS

Many Medicaid recipients do not know they receive it because Medicaid is called different things in different states. The public narrative of Medicaid focuses on a distant other, but 40% of US children and 60% of nursing home residents receive Medicaid. Just SOME of the names by state are below:

Hey. NYers. Do me a favor and support the following assembly bills: NY A05464 aka the Freedom to Read Act, which will protect libraries & librarians & NY A05416 aka the Books Save Lives Act, which will require school libraries to maintain a collection of diverse books here's how🧵

I forgot how stupid those years were

Bezos emailing all Amazon MGM Studios employees to dictate that the next James Bond will be bald and wear a vest

"The collapse of society will be a good thing, because the weak will die and strong people like me will survive and prosper" says man who experienced a complete breakdown from which he never recovered because he couldn't go to Home Depot and BW3 for a couple weeks in 2020.

I will be very curious to see how the Post will take a personal liberty stance that aligns with federal leadership very focused on restricting what bathrooms people use, what clothes they wear, how they can move about & access the world, who they can marry, etc etc etc. Unserious!

oooo how can I see this? Doesn’t seem to be on a service or even the library

In most ways it is so over, but in some ways we are so back. I absolutely loved Poker Face, love the guest cast having fun, and love that this is coming back soon

Decades of propaganda denigrating the public sector have led to this. It will take a lot of work to reverse this sentiment. But it is necessary.

Just scored some big-ass astronomical binoculars from High Point's Meade/Orion inventory sale. I've been wanting a pair of these for grab & go viewing when cool stuff is out but I don't feel like lugging the big scope out to the driveway. www.highpointscientific.com/meade-orion-...

If you have not won an election in a year that starts with a 2, I beg of you: Shut the fuck up.

Just saw a thread about a guy calling into cspan saying his diabetic supplies increased from 5 dollars to 80 dollars and somebody in the comments, probably multiple people but I stopped reading, replied “FAFO” and I can’t stress enough how much you need to stop doing that shit

Nobody tell me where Little Texas was on January 6; I’d rather just not know

This is the most wretched campaign of deliberate, explicit persecution the United States has perpetrated against a minority group in decades. Many of the most important people in politics and journalism are busying themselves trying to figure out how little to say or do about it.

The lady on Peanut Butter Jam (indie rock radio show for kids) just introduced “Here’s a song by a band from Brooklyn named Beirut. I think they need geography lessons” lmao

My daughter (8) is a natural born entertainment hyperfocuser, I’m proud (afraid?) to say. She’s messaging me the per-episode production budget of her current favorite YouTube series

Seriously if Hollywood doesn’t make any more Nice Guys movies then what are we even doing here

They blink a lot. They lose in court too. They are even feeling some pressure from within the party. Things are bad, but not hopeless.

Severance you’ve done it again. Every episode is an event at this point.

The Nice Guys is one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen

Hell yes - love both of these stories, and I’m excited to see how they build

I will vote for the first candidate who tells me they're going to make the biggest government possible. Reacher-sized agencies. Braun Strowman-level social benefits. Government so big it starts belching out National Parks and free healthcare. Chungus State.

"Depressed? Go see some stand-up. They're never depressed, those comics. Very helpful, psychologically. If you ARE a stand up comedian, perhaps by the name of Pagliacci, we definitely recommend this."

John Wick level of score-settling here if they harm one hair on that bear’s marmalade-covered head: www.thesun.co.uk/news/3346318...
