I know people are enjoying Avowed and that’s great but you don’t need to go and put down Dragon Age: The Veilguard! There are a lot of things I dislike about Avowed but I’m not on here bashing it. Just be happy and enjoy Avowed without trashing other games people have enjoyed. That’s my TED Talk.

Had Neve and Emmrich on my term and the subject about how he grew up hit me really hard and it totally took me out of my game completely. I use games to escape RL not be reminded of it. First time I heard that conversation after over 430+ hours of Dragon Age Veilguard .

Mmm Obsidian did this in Tyranny as well, as I recall. Personally, I can't say I'm a fan, as it ends up making dialogue feel too... interface-y? Wikipedia-ish? While it does make some information more accessible, it sacrifices immersion to do so. Or so my gut says. Maybe others disagree.
