Best way to describe how DEI is supposed to work is if you have 2 equally qualified candidates and one is a man and one is a woman, then you should hire the one you have less of. Qualified being the most important part.

Been watching closely. So far I have not seen any executive order, or any proposed legislation relating to price gouging or bringing prices down. I have seen proposed legislation to severely reduce snap benefits, and other programs to help needy families and disabled people. Which hurts farmers.

I believe it is sad when I see people I know in a toxic relationship escape, and then go back to their ex because they only remember the good things, and tell themselves it wasn't so bad. But this only gives permission to the abuser to do it again and worse. Often it's the kids that suffer worst.

SSID currently pays less than 1000 a month. And if you try to work even a small amount then after you make $65.00 in a month you lose a dollar for every $2 you make. And if your assets exceed $2000 (other than 1 car and home), you lose your benefits. Let disabled people work without this penalty.
