Heavily frosted trails and sunshine have to be my favourite running conditions, 7.5 miles with wee Maggie this morning. The road back after whatever it was I had before Christmas has been hard but feel like I'm turning a corner now

Last week I asked running folks about hydration and the vast majority said they run with some kind of fluid regime. For some it was timed sips, for others, an hourly volume. Aside perhaps, from very chilly winter races, drinking to a regime may cause problems. 🧵 1/10

It's not just an increase in mileage that sees me continue to improve, a good mix of easy miles and quality sessions as well as that amount of vert all adds up to a stronger runner.
