I think you're right, WHW down to the right. Road past the Buchaille is straight, of course

Something wrong with your car there😋 is that the Buchaille?

Had a quick look at the sizing guide, what was your issue with it? I'm around a 32 inch waist and the M says it covers 31-35 inch which I thought would fit me. Just wondering what your thoughts were on that?

Good shout! I'll try and find a physical shop, what will the kids think?!

Thanks for all the replies, I'm veering towards the Salomon pulse belt now🫶🏼

Thanks for the suggestion, didn't think of a belt👍🏼

I'll have a look, not sure I'm a fan of wearing a belt whilst running but the Salomon one might work for me. Thanks for the suggestion

We'll find the right blend eventually, right? Right?!😋

Everything I do builds towards big days out on the trails but midweek convenience of roads is a part of that. As well as trails and road I'd add track into the mix

So, cards on table. I have an issue with retching deep into races and I've found that if I stay on top of my hydration it seems to be much better. I can't link this to be the categorically but that's how it's felt to me. I'd love to banish the issue completely though

Or is it all relative to intensity of effort i.e working harder requires more carbs, also requires more liquid/salt intake? I tend to push myself in races and aim for 90g carb/hr and 500ml electrolyte drink/hr

That's a fantastic thread with some unbelievably helpful information. Can I ask, if you are drinking to thirst and possibly taking in less than needed how does that affect carbohydrate consumption? Wouldn't it lead to the body being unable to process the required amount of carbs? 1/2

Maybe when my voice doesn't sound like I'm talking under water!😆

I do a very good impression, if I do say so myself 🤣 They really are, hope you feel better soon too. Jammies and jumper on and a day watching running docs on YouTube, I'm running out though. Back at it next week fingers crossed 😊

Absolutely love Puffins, and the noise they make. Another day not running for me, struck down by covid or something doing a great impression of it.😥

Correct, it's absolutely beautiful in places. From Ayr through Prestwick and all the way round to Portencross has some magical views

Seamill? You can't beat a view over to Arran ❤️

It's evolved over time and experience. Where I drank calories tailwind then active root, I've now separated hydration and nutrition completely. My best performances have come when staying on top of hydration to allow better consumption of carbs. I'll try to stick to 500ml/hr of electrolyte mix

It's funny how many recent things don't stand up to the scrutiny of today

My daughter binged it, from what I saw it was very cheesy. Joe from You is in it

Serious jokin' no G. What a warmer the man is, first time I've heard about his ND too. Love the term neuro spicy btw😊
comment in response to post
Aw man, who's claiming ND made them be a creep?

I started re-watching Twin Peaks, never watched it since it was aired in the 90s. It hasn't aged at all well

I didn't realise they were prequels until now, I just thought Paramount really liked commissioning shows about the wild west🤣

The mornings I wake up feeling grotty and check my HRV are the ones where it's normal and I've had a great sleep according to the gadget
