I assumed the messy was the point. It has an feel of brush and ink, or really wet woodblock stamping to it. It does indeed seem distinct.
Depending on the adventure context, this could be perfect. If it visually tells the story, 👍

Sometime complaining is a way of organizing your own thoughts.
Took me a long time as an adult to understand why some people don't want solutions. I didn't understand the "do you want understanding, or do you want help" approach. I'm getting better (I think). :))
