I really enjoyed this one. Coming at it as a small creator beholden to algorithms and trying to build a following, I've found my most viewed content is discovered almost exclusively via search (external and youtube; up to 74% of views). I agree with what you've laid out here especially the nuance.

I'd recommend setting up adguard / pihole on your home network (or using a custom DNS that blocks ads). With that setup I haven't seen a mobile game ad in ages.
Of course, some games don't let you progress without ads.
