You couldn't ask for a clearer picture of the fundamental crossroads in the aftermath of Democrats' loss to Trump: Leader Hakeem Jeffries meeting with 150+ Silicon Valley donors vs. Bernie Sanders going on a national tour to talk directly to voters in Biden '20—GOP '24 districts

What one should be doing at this moment is rallying the base and trying to get low-information voters to pay attention. Instead, Schumer is trying to play to Republicans because that's all that Democrats ever do, despite the fact Republicans will never vote for them.

One can only hope 🙏

it’s becoming increasingly clear the goal of the far right is to defund and buy up every source of reliable information until there is no more objective reality to counter them

Back. To. Back.

To recap: •Dems negotiated a year-end bill with a few wins. •Musk killed it to duck scrutiny of his Chinese investments. •Republicans fumbled around and then pared it down to a "clean" CR, disaster relief and Ag money •It needs Dem votes to pass today •Dems will apparently vote yes with no changes

The Democratic party will continue to lose far, far into the future because their clueless 70+ members are never going to get out of the way until they pass away. They do not care about winning. They only care about insider trading and enriching themselves.

A friend described the current Democratic response to the political moment “bringing a strongly worded letter to a knife fight” and I can tell that’s one of those phrases that’s going to be sticking

One reason people insist that you use the proper channels to change things is because they have control of the proper channels and they’re confident it won’t work. - Jon Stone
