This is going to be remembered for all time as Columbia’s response to having a student protestor kidnapped and held prisoner by a budding authoritarian regime. It is unspeakable cowardice.

Thank you for doing this and taking the risk even at potential personal cost.

Is there something you, as a member of Congress, can maybe file when a president is committing unconstitutional acts? Have you considered it?
Also, awesome job on selling out trans people.

I truly do not care if someone is a progressive or a centrist or whatever.
They want Trump removed from office and are calling for it? I support their position.
If they don't? I truly have no idea what they are doing all day but its not anything useful.

The abuser will be popular with abusers and people who want abuse or don’t want to know about abuse.
The enabler won’t be popular with anyone.

a thought i’ll put out there: it is not the ideological moderation that is the electoral problem, it is that selecting for candidates who chase popular issue positions is necessarily selecting for candidates who exude the kind of focused-group affect that voters genuinely hate

Schumer and other cowardly Senate Dems think that by the time it’s primary season, people will have forgotten his betrayal.
By calling on Schumer to step aside now, by telling my Senators that I, as their constituent, expect them to tell Schumer he needs to go now, it makes the threat immediate.

I never thought Chuck would accomplish much of anything, but he has, it seems, accomplished the impossible! He has gotten liberal/dems and leftists to find common ground with one another. No matter how small that ground may be. The common ground, of course, is hating Chuck Schumer.

The Yeas on cloture give the rest of the caucus cover to vote Nay. The Yeas weather the voter outrage, the Nays point out they voted against it. But given the grievous nature of the CR, if the Nays were serious, they'd have the numbers to remove Schumer from leader. If they don't, they're complicit.

It should be very clear to every Senate Democrat that any vote for Cloture will also be considered a vote for the bill.
People aren’t going to be tricked with procedural games.
They know exactly what is going on.
Defend Medicaid.
Vote NO on Cloture.
NO on bill.
