Now Iā€™m gonna rewatch that episode. Just because. (Love me some SGA over here. So would live on Atlantis if that was a thing)

I have surgery scheduled next month. So scared theyā€™re gonna cancel it and say it was because of Orange šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

I wish I could completely get away from IG - but too much of my family of friends arenā€™t moving away from Meta (communities Iā€™m involved with donā€™t yet have an alternative - emphasis on the *yet*; hopefully that changes soon) So glad youā€™re still telling your story. šŸ©·

No. Iā€™m not. Iā€™m scared to death. We donā€™t have resources to up and move again; weā€™re currently trying to buy a travel trailer which will be our home (and we can use to escape if necessary). I donā€™t know what else to do next.

I wish we could. We gave up everything to move to Cleveland so my wife could get medical care at the Cleveland Clinic - and we are currently living in our car.

Iā€™m at the point that it would be best for me to delete my Instagram - especially because many people there know Iā€™m trans - but that would completely cut me off from my main community and Iā€™m not sure how healthy that would be for me

Only if you think I (and my wife) belong there - feel free to invite us. My wifeā€™s Discord handle is @stinacole and mine is @brianna.an.american.girl

Wondering if I should delete my Instagram account (mainly used for my doll photos, I donā€™t post about being trans there) because of what theyā€™ve been doing. Sadly that would cut me off of the entire AG community.

And thank you for understanding. šŸ©·

I will do my best, given how messed up things are right now. Thank you. šŸ©·

There are things I am not the most comfort including in my profile, but am willing to share with a smaller audience (profile says Iā€™m married to my wife, doesnā€™t say I transitioned - thatā€™s the part Iā€™m scared to make more public). Hope thatā€™s not a bad thing.

Struggling to get moving today. Too cold. May just hibernate today. Stay warm and have an extra coffee for me please!

At my old hotel, they did things by paper before I started working there (was the sysadmin and became AGM). I wrote the PMS in FileMaker on an old Mac, we ran credit and CLC (trucker contract) cards via dialup terminal, and were FAXed reservations. And it all worked quite well for all involved.

Absolutely LOVE your hair!

I will link that and the other apps I looked at if youā€™d like. Are you on iOS or Android?
comment in response to post
I wrote my own for my AG collection (using FileMaker Pro on my Mac). Did look at a few other apps though. A girl in the AG community is a software developer and wrote a web app for people to manage their AG collectionsā€¦

Iā€™ll have to dig through my old photos, but I may have one of this arch! Was at Arches about ten years ago. Such a beautiful place. šŸ©·

Sadly now with all that is going on in our lives and the world, I find myself missing that community, that safe place, the team more and more.

Displays at our store were always amazing - a credit to our visual, Natalie, who was a bona fide artist and if I had the chance I would buy a piece of her artwork to display in our (next) home. The doll salon girls all knew what they were doing and no doll left their care looking less than perfect.

And once I met Christina and brought her to the store for the first time, they welcomed her with open arms and she became a part of our community, our team as well.

I had managers pull me aside if my dress was malfunctioning and to give me advice on how to feel better. People toon time out of their lives to try to help me find a safe place to live.

I love love love AG. The dolls, books, activities, meetups, everything that AG stands for. Our team was the best of the best - true assets to the company and the AG community. I always felt safe in the store. When the worst things happened (like my Momā€™s passing) the team took such good care of me.
