This is Heidi, a composite doll my mom gifted me a few years ago! She is seriously so cute, and based on her hair and craftsmanship, I would guess that she is either from the 40s or 50s! I have a feeling her dress is original, too, based on how delicate and torn it is.

Also, my kitty Harold loves to sleep near him. šŸ±

I believe Puzzleā€™s head is made out of porcelain, and the rest of his body is cloth! He canā€™t hold his head too well on his own hahah. Puzzleā€™s outfit is lovelyā€”the hearts, the lace, the shoesā€”and he has a very calm and protective feel to him.

The only identifying information I have about this doll is the number 42201 being lightly engraved on the back of his neck. I found this doll at the thrift store a few years ago with my friend, so his origins remain unknown to meā€¦

I am so happy to be featuring this doll today, as he was sent to my P.O. Box many years ago and has remained one of my favorite dolls in my entire collection. šŸ„¹

Her feet are fastened to a circular device that you can wind-up, and she even spins while her song is playing! šŸ˜‡šŸŽ¶

I just think his whole ensemble is so cute, and itā€™s one that I would certainly recreate if given the opportunity lol

I bought this doll a few years ago on eBay actually! It was a ā€œlotā€ of five composite dolls, and I think I paid just over $50 for all five.

She was packed away as we got older, but as I started collecting dolls in my later teenage years, Wib HAD to make a return. šŸ„¹

One day my sister and I found this doll in one of our dadā€™s desk drawers at home. šŸ¤£ Someone he worked with had given the doll to him, but he didnā€™t really know what to do with her, so he gave the doll to me and my sister to play with.

ā€¦This Raggedy Ann doll was included in that group, and it wasnā€™t long before we nicknamed her ā€œWibā€ for how ā€œwibbly-wobblyā€ she was (aka she was a rag doll) hahaha šŸ¤£

This Raggedy Ann is one that my sister and I had as kids. We had a collection of random dolls growing upā€”an Ariel the Little Mermaid, a Mr. Incredible, sooo many moreā€”that weā€™d create dance and cheerleading routines with, dedicate our own holidays to, and make them act out play scripts weā€™d writeā€¦

A certificate of authenticity was also included in her box, though itā€™s not entirely filled out hahah. Iā€™ll add some photos of the paperwork to this post so you can see, but I had to block out some personal information about the previous owner just in case lol.

Looking at the receipt, it seems like Thelmaā€™s previous owner sent away for this doll back in 1989 from the Home Shopping Network!

Aesthetically speaking, Miss Patti has certainly seen better daysā€”her dress is very torn, her arms are hanging on to her body by a ribbon, and it took me days to clean as much dirt off her as I could. On the contrary, it makes me happy to see this doll was SO loved and played with. šŸ„¹

I believe she is the second tallest doll in my collection, and I named her Molly before I knew she was a Patti. šŸ˜… I bought this doll for $10 from one of my momā€™s friends who was moving and couldnā€™t take her with her. She has been in my collection since around 2020 and stands at around 35ā€.
