As someone who played the official Puzzle Bobble rhythm game/Touhou crossover, yep

Sorry about not checking until now, I was a bit busy!
I have all of those, except for Armarouge, Zweilous, Sandy Shocks, and Koraidon.

I'll take a look at my boxes in the morning, I think I have some of these.

SpongeBob: The Cosmic Shake - Some of my friends kept talking about how this was a really good game. Honestly, I thought it was just fine - it gives the vibes of a mid-2000s 3D licensed platformer, for better and for worse. Last boss was really anticlimactic tbh.

The Plucky Squire - A cute little puzzle adventure game. A bit on the easy side, but it's not meant to be that hard either way. I had fun with it, and would definitely recommend it.

Honestly, Steam Deck is great for classic PC games. Some stuff I loved back in the early 2000s (which I had trouble with even on Win10/11) works really well through Proton.
Hopefully these releases work well on modern Windows, that's the real compatibility test.

Yep! She has a brother (Meowscles) and a nephew whose name I don't remember at the moment.

Fun fact: there actually is a bit of Meow Skulls family lore

Paprika - Forgot to mention this one! I love the way this is animated, and the dreams vs. reality thing it has going. Some of the stuff in it is kinda weird, though, like how it describes neurodivergence and a character who's particularly creepy towards the title character. Still worth a watch tho.

At my local convention, I usually just walk around with my friend, get pics of cosplays I like, spend too much time at the vendor hall, go to occasional cool panels, and obsess over some Japanese rhythm game at the game room

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (movie) Honestly, best in the series so far. Good human/Sonic character balance, they handled the Maria thing well enough, and it got DBZ as shit in the third act. When Sonic said the thing in the helicopter, I nearly clapped.

Laid-Back Camp - A cozy anime series my best friend (Rindovan on Twitter) showed me on a recent visit. It's a slice-of-life anime meant to give the viewer a cozy, comforting experience, which is something a lot of series don't do anymore, anime or otherwise.

Hypnospace Outlaw - Fredrik Knudsen's streams got me to revisit this one and finally 100% it. It's beautiful in a way that's hard to explain, especially when the first thing people see about it is "Granny Cream's Hot Butter Ice Cream."

(GOD I hated the Battle Star system, it made me feel like all the rewards I wanted were way too spread out and I'm glad it's in the grave)

Fortnite - Finally gave it a serious revisit. The new unified XP system gives the battle passes so much more value, especially with Fortnite Crew. The removal of Battle Stars also makes leveling up so much more rewarding.

Digseum - A neat little incremental game that doesn't start getting overly slow like some other incremental games I've played. It's only a few hours long, but it's good for its runtime.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble - I don't play a lot of Monkey Ball, but watching Vinny play it made me think "oh, alright." Looked fun, was fun, I was launched by doohickeys hundreds of times, would do it again.

Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition - ...This game sucked. Honestly, it feels like a free NSO benefit that they decided to make $30 for no apparent reason.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Finally got around to playing this back in June. Yeah, all the hype around this game was justified. I loved it a lot, the jump to 3D feels really natural.

Interloper - I don't remember if I saw this series in 2023 or 2024, but I've been obsessing over it recently and I need to give it a full rewatch. I love series that give insight into the inner workings of games, so an ARG based on that is right up my alley.

Antonblast - I'm never going to 100% this game, the time trials are too much for me. It's okay, though - the game is a great take on the Crash Bandicoot/Wario formulas and deserves the attention it got.

Atlyss - My friend @votterbin.bsky.social got this as a gift for me, and I had fun with it. Needs better balancing for solo play, but I enjoyed my time in it with friends.

Dave the Diver - I should probably get back to this game. The loop of getting things, earning money, and going deeper is addicting.

Shadow Generations - Genuinely one of my games of the year. Sonic Team is on a roll, and this game is an immense improvement over Frontiers and even the original Generations.

Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail - I think this was around when it came out? Anyway, I loved Dawntrail. It felt like a genuine break for the Warrior of Light, a respite before the new arc saddles them with a lot more responsibility. I will never shut up about Wuk Lamat

Antonball Deluxe - Re-bought this one and 100%ed it in preparation for Antonblast. I still love the GBA look to it, and the Steam version's double jump feature helped me a lot.

Qomp - Also a fun game that feels like a classic Flash game, like something I'd see from The-EXP or such. Simple, one button puzzle stuff.

Mega Coin Squad - RIP Mega Coin Squad. It was a fun little game that felt like a Flash game from the good old days. Sadly, publisher stuff means it's been taken down from Steam. This is why media preservation matters!

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix - Did another playthrough now that it's on Steam. Beginning's still slow as hell, but as you make progress it gets much better. Hot take: I... kinda prefer 3 in terms of gameplay.

River City Girls 2 - It's fun! I'm not much of a beat-em-up person, but I enjoyed this take on the genre. It feels like WayForward was inspired by the Scott Pilgrim game's improvements to the genre.

Hades 2 - I can always get behind more Hades. For an Early Access title, hoo boy there's a lot to do. Not sure if I'm vibing with Mel's play style as much as I did Zag's, but maybe I'll get an equivalent to the sword eventually.

Polybius - Jeff Minter was brave naming this game the way he did, considering his close relationship with Atari. But it's a genuinely fun time, much better than a lot of the other attempts at a playable Polybius.

Balan Wonderworld - Okay, genuinely not that bad. There was a lot of potential for a great game here, but Yuji Naka's mismanagement resulted in a lot of that potential being squandered. It's fine, not great, and that's all I have to say on the matter.

KinitoPET - I saw Vinny play a bit of this and knew I had to get it. Honestly, pretty good use of desktop fuckery, but there's not too much else in this beyond that. I appreciate the lack of cheap jumpscares.

Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore - Turns out that if you fix everything that was wrong with the CD-i Zelda games, it becomes a fun little Metroidvania. Feels more like a love letter to CD-ROM games in general, which I'm happy about.

Patrick's Paradox - A cute little puzzle game, really fun mechanics. Sokoban but with paradoxes, warping, and non-Euclidean spaces.

Steam Deck - Bought one of these at the start of the year. Holy shit what a device. If you told me I'd be playing Hamsterball, Sonic Heroes, and all my favorite GBA games on the same handheld back in 2005, I would have been in awe.
