Yes and no. I think we’re more aware of problems now than we used to be. Some problems are pretty big now though such as climate change.

I’ve paid close attention to the news, particularly geopolitics and climate science, for over 15 years now. After Nov 6, I wanted to shut down and stop caring about anything other than myself, friends, and family. I then realized this must be how republicans view the world for most of their lives.
