When my family went to Epcot for the first time, RCA sponsored the exit walkway in Space Mountain which had dioramas of future family life. One of them was a videodisc player. I was mesmerized by the swirly rainbow effect of the disc in its weird album-sized cartridge.

Many thanks for the copy, Alan. Congratulations on a beautiful volume for a show we’ll be studying forever!

Trust me, you are not ready. I’ve seen many insane rhythm games but this one tops them all. Plus the commentary (run and commentary are remote from Taiwan) is adorably hype.

I’ve shown Death of Stalin and First Cow in this class before! Nightcrawler is a great idea.

Yeah I am very tempted! Placed correctly I think students could be ready for it.

This would be fun — take a movie they all know and examine it from an academic & critical perspective.

Things I like about the Netflix football scorebug:
* little football icon by the score of the team with the ball
* pop-up down and distance color-coded to team with the ball
* down and distance shows direction of offense
* quarter and clock visually separated from down and distance
* N logo small!
