Like 12 dudes have all the money and property, it would be good if it was just taken away from them so that human beings could live their lives. Give them each $50,000 for their trouble and get them skill training so they can finally work for a living.

When the crystals and candles and bullshit fail, it’s never THAT “medicine’s” fault. It’s yours. You didn’t do it right. You didn’t follow the protocol. Are you SURE you had your coffee enemas at the same time every single day for four weeks running? Are you SURE sure? I don’t think you did!

If every problem can only be solved by buying things: how can I buy my way out of this solution - if you are rich, you buy real healthcare, if you are not rich, you buy what’s affordable, which is usually animal medicine and crystals or whatever the fuck.

The healthcare industry feels like the most obvious signal that capitalism just does not work as a solution to any particular human problem. And instead of addressing that, the way we make it fit into capitalism is maybe buy horse dewormer or fish tank cleaner and subscribe to my YouTube channel

I think the two best things I’ve read recently: Under the Banner of Heaven for Non Fiction and Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead for Fiction.
