It is always darkest before the boys are back in town

Clowns to the left of me Clowns to the right Here I am Stuck in this car full of clowns

Cautiously optimistic about a new season of #TedLasso, a show that had a near-perfect ending as it was. Will it be a welcome addition to the story, like the #VeronicaMars movie, or will it be a regretful disaster that fans disavow like it never happened, like Veronica Mars season 4? Time will tell.

Getting pretty tired of Vin Diesel hopping into the passenger seat yelling "PUNCH IT" when I am just trying to eat my lunch alone in my car

OLD, dumb and mean-spirited.

Sure, it’s great being a genius, but sometimes I wish I were the kind of genius people really admire, like the kind that’s good at spreadsheets.

Are we gonna talk about Sonya Cassidy's accent on Reacher, or what?

Watching Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke, and I have thoughts. Two main ones: 1. Kevin Franke really tries to escape culpability for stuff he was CLEARLY allowing to occur. 2. In addition to all her monstrous crimes, that Jodi Hildebrandt is TOUGH to look at.

It's tough to watch modern documentaries, because, for some reason, the filmmakers think we need a lot of TikTok talking heads interspersed.

Happy International Women’s Day! Here’s a stock photo from Unsplash!

Showed my son The Rocketeer for the first time tonight. Hard to think of a more perfect movie for a 12 year old boy.

Gonna be Friday today

It's Will Eisner's birthday. If you love comics and you've never read A CONTRACT WITH GOD, do yourself a favor and buy it right now. A truly revolutionary work that helped widen my view of what comics can be. But that's true of just about all of Eisner's work.

I hate it when people assume I'm a bog body because i was "found in a bog". I was lost

Thinking about the Traveling Wilburys again today. It's strange--technically Dylan is my favourite Wilbury, based on his OWN music, and Harrison is certainly the most famous Wilbury, Lynne seems to have the biggest role in the actual songs. But Orbison is certainly my MVP of the Wilburys.

If you start The Shining at the same time as Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, you will not be able to hear the movie very well.

I’m the Michael Jordan of pushing the wrong button and rolling down the back car window.

No, I'm not overtired, I was just moved to tears by the birth of Swifty's son on the episode of She-Ra my daughter was watching.

i thought sean baker's speech was really inspiring

Why does he think bathrooms are sexy? What does he think grade schoolers do in bathrooms?

I don’t want to get groceries and do grown up stuff. I want to get slurpees and play pinball. But, alas.

Who'd have thought Nosferatu would be kind of a downer?

Hey each to their own, but MY GOODNESS Netflix’s The Perfect Couple was bad. Started bad, stayed bad, ended bad. I’m bad for watching it, and kinda bad for thinking about it.

[interrupting opponent during rap battle] That’s not my name. No one calls me that

RIP Gene Hackman. Certainly one of the best to ever do it.

You either die 80s Wayne Gretzky or live long enough to become 2020s Wayne Gretzky.

A quick digital drawing added to PEREGRINES: BADLANDS from @group-of-7-comics.bsky.social I see something there, so I’m tempted to use it as the basis for a traditional pen and ink piece. #digitalart #illustration #comicbookart #indiecomics #smallpress #canadiancomics #canadianbooks #dinosaurs

Did he just call me immature? Hold my sippy cup

An interesting hypothetical if you’re wondering if Elon Musk is a genius or not is to compare his behaviour in any situation to what a complete moron would do in the same situation

If people have their two cents they will most certainly give it to you, always without fail.

therapist: i'm not sure you take these sessions seriously me: *sad slide whistle sound*

I guess it’s VRBO, until something terrible comes out about its founder.

Though it couldn’t be more different from the novel, the 2002 Count of Monte Cristo is so so good.

Sneakily, out of nowhere, one of the best days I’ve had in a long time arrives. In FEBRUARY!

Zero Hour: Crisis in Time #2 (September 1994) The action ramps up as a central character dies, the Team Titans go bad, and everyone's like "I don't know who that is." Tumblr: superman86to99.tumblr.com/post/7754872... Patreon (free post): www.patreon.com/posts/122295...

If scientists ever want to research whether it’s possible to fall asleep standing up in a shower, I know the PERFECT test subject for them.

I'm cheering for Tina Fey (to want) to take over for Lorne Michaels if and when he retires from SNL, but my guess is, like Johnny Carson, he'll take the show with him, and it won't have the same cultural cachet once he's gone.

New comic! There are always a million what-ifs when it comes to romance.

I always think that January is the baddie and then I remember it’s February, of course it’s February.
