Searching "prisoner's dilemma" on bsky right now -- it is almost like the joke was soooooo obvious ...

obviously this is terrible for democracy and the rule of law in America but I'm also offended on behalf of the prisoner's dilemma

>doing a prisoner’s dilemma with a group of lawyers who are all in the same room #uspoli

All the good economists became democrats and now you can’t even set up a prisoner’s dilemma game correctly in the Trump admin

They can’t even fucking “prisoner’s dilemma” properly. They put all the folks who just witnessed their bosses heroic self-sacrifice in defense of the Constitution TOGETHER and able to DISCUSS AMONGST THEMSELVES???

This is what should happen everywhere, but especially in 🟦states with commitments to protecting the most marginalized in our society. We can't be a refuge from fascists attempts to roll back decades of civil rights progress if no one can afford to move here.

When someone says “why isn’t anyone DOING anything,” it sometimes seems to me that they’re looking for a superheroic action that saves the day rather than the kind of steady, human-scale work that actually is happening and could use your help if you have some time

Can't get over how insightful this article is; some seriously fantastic writing @elienyc.bsky.social 👏🏻

"We have fought and died alongside you....During your darkest hours...we were always there. Standing with you, grieving with you, the American people.” I’ve had my differences with Justin Trudeau, for sure, but he rose to the occasion here.

maybe kinda mild take but anyone who tells u boston’s food scene sucks has 1) never lived in a suburban or rural area and 2) won’t go to dorchester or allston bc graffiti scares them

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world. Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

"This is is unprecedented times." Not really. They're pulling from the Andrew Johnson playbook of rolling back Reconstruction. The only difference is, the majority of people seem to be against what they're doing, hence why we're better positioned to do something about it.

Goooooooooal! Great action at Tsongas in Lowell with @thepwhl.com teams @bostonfleet.bsky.social and @pwhlsirens.bsky.social tonight. 🥅🏒⛸️ #PWHL
