It s ok, now you know you re not alone in this boat. Sadly, the only solution i found was to remove myself... i don t prevent them from seeing my partner nor our son, but i d rather stay away so we won t hurt eachothers. Each time i saw them, my anxiety jumped over the roof...

I vocalised said healthy boundaries first, but they still don t understand and keep hurting me. And as they don t get me, they also get hurt in the process. Communication failed too as they keep infantalise us too... that s just sad. Guess it s also a generational conflict.

Heh, im dealing with issues with my in laws too. They are not bad people, but they don t get it. Im audhd and they were ableist and rude to me without realising it. So i decided to remove access to my person as much as possible. Cause if they can t resoect the boundaries, what else?
