@nytimes.com, this was a terrorist attack and an attempted assassination. It's disgusting that I need to correct your base characterization of the event.

Wall Street was rickrolled and they're not happy.

And this is the guy that ranted before Drumpf lost the first time that 'he will never leave the WH willingly.'

I can tell you that none of half dozen (at least) 80 somethings in my circle of relations knows what Twitter is, will ever user Twitter and will never learn about this unless they get sent a physical letter. And they'll go to the website for info, not some weird ass social media site.

I most certainly hope he is. Maybe he, Tim Cook and all the other oligarchs can share an Uber home.

This Drumpf supporting oligarch 🤡 lying through his teeth that the country is 100% behind the Orange POS. Problem is Billionair Boi here paid for his ticket on the Drumpf train and now it's going off the rails and he's scared about it. Lying through his teeth.

I considered going and, right now, I am being mindful of how my participation and possible negative coverage would impact my job. Because it too is under attack, and I don't want to make it worse.

I slept on it overnight and I'm placing orders to move it all out of the market. All. Of. It. I cannot keep doing this. Because now this looks like survival money, not retirement savings.

I disagree. If that were the case, the holders of the Hawktuah girl coin would still have something of value. To me, her rug pull is the perfect example of why this is a con.

Now you're being disingenuous. The internet is a data communications highway, nothing more. That transfer contributes nothing to the value of what it conveys. My dollar isn't worth more or less because i used a digital tool to transfer it.

Does that mean I can use a 'miner' to pay for my coffee? Will my local grocery story accept developers as payment, or do I need to include something else? *electricity and intellectual aren't assets with value.* it's a con.

Ponzi. Sorry. It holds no value and is backed by nothing. You've bought into the notion that a code protecting nothing is somehow worth something of value. The only people making something are the people that got in at the beginning.

Bessent is a believer, states are working their way through establishing their own reserves and Drumpf & family have issued their own coin(s). They're working their way toward a play. It's ponzi grift they want the world to support. bitcoinlaws.io/reserve-race

I think the key miss here is not factoring in the whispered "Mara Lago Accords." The goal isn't to tie to the *dollar*, it's to tie bitcoin the US has cornered the market on. Hence the 'strategic bitcoin reserve', Thiel backing and his own coin. www.theatlantic.com/economy/arch...

I have always enjoyed your writings. And i"m sorry to have had to cancel my WashPo (and NYT) subscriptions in the last year - so I've missed your work. I'm grateful for it and glad that work is no longer tainted by association with Mr. Bezos and his brand. I look forward to reading you again.

If you haven't visited a local indian market, do so asap. A wealth of high protein beans and rice. Also, your best friends now are spices. They'll make all the new things you haven't eaten before now taste insanely good. I promise.

They can stop calling them 'reciprocal tariffs' which is Administration propaganda. They can call them 'taxes,' which is what they are.
