Here's the creative process behind my recent 2000 AD Sci-fi Special cover, from rough to finished art.

Okay walked into a new bar in Riga and they're very clearly playing the whole of OK Computer. I asked why, and the lass behind the bar said it keeps the stag (bachelor for you yanks) parties away until after 8pm, when they revert to a DJ. Riga has absolutely become one of my favourite cities.

Staffordshire oatcake. Bacon, cheese, brown sauce.

This is kind of important: he is saying the law allows you to be a bigot, but it doesn't require you to be. Anyone, including the government, who chooses, say, to stop trans women using female toilets is doing so because they want to, not because they are forced to.

Labour is making the same mistake.

Presumably hunting the Traitor Gargamel.

SMURFS + ROGUE TROOPER is something that should have happened long ago... @2000ad.bsky.social , @papercutzgn.bsky.social let´s make it happen! 😅😅😅

Here you go. Just let them be, for gods sake.

Trans rights and trans liberation now. Anyone with a heart or a soul is sick of this evil shit and how it's taken over the UK - not to mention it's the tip of the spear, as we've been warned by our trans siblings so many times. No forgiveness or pity for transphobes, in government or outside of it.

Lovely interview between Andrew and Tripwire about Zarjaz, the @2000ad.bsky.social fanzine. Lots to be excited about. Have a gander. tripwiremagazine.co.uk/headlines/an...

Again: Britain (not just this government but all of the recent ones) has a problem with knowledge work. Fishing, steel are manly proper jobs with a Victorian sense of place and history. Creative industries & HE are treated as secondary; derided or ignored.

I recorded my own version of this for my wife’s 40th birthday, but I’m not as good at singing as the Pointer Sisters youtu.be/6RQySSHfW2E?...

This goober just informed me in the most performative way possible that it’s muck-spreading season out on the fields I let her run on.

The UK car industry contributes £22bn to the economy and employs c 35k people. Universities contribute £265bn and employ nearly 400k, over 10x as much. Yet he seems ok to let that sector implode.

Hi #portfolioday

I read a good comic today, installed a chicken run in the garden and walked the dog by the canal in the sunshine. I needed that.
