It probably eliminates all liability from Tesla.
Car continues into a wall: driver’s fault.
If car hits brakes to avoid crashing into a false positive and cause pile up behind them: Tesla’s fault.
So, auto pilot turns off and hands it over last second to driver. No liability for Tesla
