I do consider it. A friend has family in the oil business and said that when they dealt with George W Bush before he was president he seemed like a person of normal intelligence. But it seems like such a cynical thing to do. Do people behave like this? Do they hate their electorate this much?

I'd pick machines I don't really know as a learning experience: Apple Lisa. Camputers Lynx. Jupiter Ace. Sinclair QL.

I still remember the many ads I saw back then emphasizing that Snowball had 7000 locations which honestly didn't seem like a good feature.

I really feel pity for these people. They really are good at nothing.

It's the wrong units too. I could understand saving $X/yr but an instantaneous saving of $X doesn't entirely make sense.

Not sure why anyone needs to one-up RFK. He's already funny enough.

There's a lot of ignorance around here. But RFK's description is also way off.

Really nice car. Better looking than a Tesla and feels great to drive. Some minor niggles, like occasional (non-essential) software crashes, but all the other EVs seem just as bad. Also a pleasant purchase process (except for the bit where you have to give up your own money).

I think your "idealistic" view is one of those things that becomes true if enough people believe it so good for you for working on the process.

Feeling sad that I'm not going to see how this plays out.

They're all morons. We know that already. The challenge is to catch them doing something so incredibly stupid that even the stupid half who voted for them can see how stupid they are. But I'm not sure that's possible.

It's sad that there's nobody who can give this guy the care he desperately needs. Is mental health not covered on his health insurance?

I was wondering how it did APL but I found a picture showing a keyboard legend for APL. Nice. My first computing job was APL...
