My friend found his work mobile number on the interweb. I will now send him one every time he sends me one.

He'll get busted in the lie soon enough.

What's with all the medication shortages all of a sudden? IV fluid, ADHD meds, opioids?

Listening to "Bomb Yemen Group Chat", have you looked at what's happening from this angle (Politico 2017). In this context it makes so much makes sense. I suspect someone in US intelligence swapped out a phone # to ensure a journalist saw that chat. www.politico.com/magazine/sto...

I don't think Russia would want to undermine Trump though. But I imagine plenty in U.S. security would want to expose the risks to the U.S. of this administration. www.politico.com/magazine/sto...

Perhaps someone in the intelligence community swapped it for another number for funsies. Bravo if so.

Paul, any chance of local trending issues. Hate to say it but I haven't stopped using the "other place" as I find that so useful.

Russias investment has sure paid off. Absolute masterstroke. Who needs wars when you can destroy from within for a fraction of the cost. www.politico.com/magazine/sto...

Or does Putin own it? Pretty cheap way to bring down an old foe. www.politico.com/magazine/sto...

I think put a few in a ring with Genghis. Next round Luigi.

But we won't say who organised it...

Luigi Mangione Elon Musk, Ghenkis Khan Trump, Greta Thunberg Gutam Adani. In pairings, but I'd only want to speak to two of them... Perhaps we could sell tickets?

That no doubt explains why married men live longer than single men and single women live longer than married women. My neighbour is 100 years old, single and fierce. Can touch her toes, lives by herself, no house help (but she did lash out and get a gardener)

And the toxic link between gambling and government budgets. Govt has as big an addiction issues as gamblers.

The USA looks like 1930s Germany - when will the Republicans wake up?

The US(A)SR. I don't think the USA is going to get any new states, it IS the new state.

Surely the staff create a startup newspaper, and the subscribers can move on mass. Then at least Bezos investment becomes worthless.

Maybe the conspiracy theorists had a point; they'd just been suckered into pointing the finger at the wrong people.

Given trends are done by country, it's not inconceivable.

Sadly, I don't think that's manufactured by the South African Nazi. More a sad reflection of values in Australia (and the whole world) 😥

Agreed. His failure to do that as soon as he came into office was a clear sign of how inept he is.

@margaretatwood.bsky.social knew this would happen. Please write another book, this time a utopian book about peace and love and happy ever after, let's see if that could come true too🙏

You're so right. We now see it as a gift. I hope that now people are better at seeing red flags.

My dad is an awesome guy. He has a beer on his deck in the countryside at 5pm every day. Most days the magpies come and sit on the chairs opposite him. If he's not there they wander into his kitchen to say hello.

And the fees are lower too. An arts degree as a foreign student is cheaper in Europe than as a domestic student here. And living expenses are also lower. But the unis are ranked higher. Sadly, my kids are voting with their feet and leaving Aus.
