These days social media in general feels like screaming into the void. This doesn’t bother me much, because that’s how I have been using it for years. Besides, now more than ever, we need a void to scream into.

There’s something magical about leaving my last lesson on Friday and knowing that I won’t have to speak to anyone for the next 48 hours. I’m going to use self checkout at grocery store tomorrow just to make sure that happens.

It’s especially delicious that the more Elon engages in tryhard behavior to get people to like him, the more people actively despise him.

It feels surreal to just go to work every day like everything is normal when history is being written all around us.

Maybe it’s just me, but I get nervous when I see my bank doing crypto ads.

Sometimes I wonder how I can wake up with an injury that wasn’t there before, and sometimes I wake up because of how hard I kicked the footboard in my sleep.

Teaching is like Shakespeare: Anything important has to be said at least three times and even then, some people aren’t going to get it.

For some reason, my inner musical theatre actor is thinking of dream roles lately. Today’s choice is the husband in Next to Normal.

Y’all…For real though…When are we flipping tables? Let’s set a time, roll up on the temple, and start some shit.

As a theatre actor, one of my favorite things is watching an actor who makes bold choices. I love seeing different takes on shows that I know and love.

Whew lordt, those last two classes reminded me why I drink. #comegetyourchildren

I feel like some innovations are just unnecessary. For example, a public restroom that greets you as you enter. Sweetie, I didn’t come here to chat.

One of my 5 year olds was feeling her full Beyoncé fantasy singing 5 Little Monkeys. She was giving hairography and everything.

Is it just me, or is the entire world possessed by struggle demons? What is the going rate for a global exorcism? Is there a group discount or something?

I’m so glad that it was warm enough to take my lunch break by the lake today. Spring is coming…❤️❤️❤️

The Wizard scenes in Wicked are just BAD. I have seen this show more times than I can count, and Joel Grey is the only one I have seen who made that character work. In an otherwise perfect musical, these scenes stand out like two sore thumbs.

I don’t know who any of the children are these days. I have only heard Kendrick’s name in passing, but I watched the Superbowl performance a few days ago, and I must admit, I’m a fan. Not Like Us has been on repeat ever since. Also, yay Serena. She was absolutely getting her life. Love that for her.

On my way home I slipped on ice and fell. I’m grateful for the Good Samaritans who picked me up off the ground and got me to the bus stop. In crazy times, it’s so important to remember that good people do exist.

I really hope the democrats are starting to make friends with some high ranking folks in the military. The way things are going, those relationships are gonna be important pretty soon.

I don’t watch football, and I haven’t kept up with hiphop for at least a decade or so, but watching all the visceral reactions to the halftime show is just delicious to me. Apparently it pissed off the people it was meant to.

The single seat is the Holy Grail of public transport.

Zero stars. Would not recommend.

German karaoke never disappoints. Tonight’s highlight so far is a rendition of Ice Ice Baby so good that I can say with confidence that this man has been practicing this song for the last few decades.

How I’m feeling on my second day on Bluesky.

Hello Bluesky! As Miss Celie said, I’m here!
