Ok, apologies if these are silly: • how do I optimise the search bar, I can’t seem to search hashtags - or is that they haven’t been used as hashtags yet? • does it matter what server I’m on, and can I look at a feed of another server? • what’s most important when posting for people to find you?

I have the same hunger! Let’s grab a coffee sometime soon and chat! Would also love to hear more about the children’s project you were working on with imaginate and Pitlochry!

I work for a theatre with open submissions and get paid fairly for the amount of time dedicated to each individual script. In-house dramaturgs are something that exist and works already, but it’s not always a flood of works constantly. It evens out as a flow when windows are open always.

Organisations that value that already do pay for it. If it’s not sustainable to pay because of the scale of the opportunity then perhaps the aim and outcomes of it need to be reconsidered and scaled-down to match.

Script readers’ reports have a direct impact on an artist’s career and that should be acknowledged; it’s not a case of a quick and easy £25 when someone’s opportunity to art-making in such a precarious field is at stake.

Organisations should recognise that their readers are ultimately reps for their org and should have structured models of assessment that they won’t feel embarrassed with sharing immediately (no edits) with the writers, and then this work should be compensated appropriately with the time that takes.
