I know this isn’t everyone’s experience, and ours hasn’t been without its bumps - but it was wonderful to see people decide in real time that their good relationship with our kid was more important than the regressive ideology that they often defaulted to.

If you’re a normal person correctly afraid of being shot by these psychos then sure, deescalate in any way you can. Compliment their shiny boots. But if you’re a journalist on live TV don’t lie to your audience and say cops aren’t literally and purposely SHOOTING THE PRESS

There is a certain conflict in the reality of the Trump Gang:
-- They are very dangerous.
-- They are, at the same time, extremely inept and stupid.
Over the long run, they are going nowhere but down, but will cause a lot of damage before they do.
