Just remember it is a hagiography and comes with a health warning, as with all attempts to fit archaeology to 'history' (& it isn't a history, it is a biography) but have fun!

You can fit it to Tacitus but we know they were campaigning after Agricola (& indeed before in southern Scotland)

Trying to tie things specifically to Agricola is challenging but I assume you are familiar with Bill Hanson's Agricola & the conquest of the north and also look at Birgitta Hoffmann's archaeology vs history volume. Both good on the difficulties!

People tend to operate by time period on those (e.g. Flavian), so I can't think of anything that covers all of them. But worth looking at Canmore which is the online database run by Historic Environment Scotland

You could go either Edinburgh or Glasgow. Glasgow has a longer tradition with the Wall and the collections in the Hunterian Museum. Edinburgh does have an interest too through Tanja Romankiewicz. Your choice!
