A terrible photo of the very best.

Delighted by the English Housing Survey's colour coding

Useful read on partial and impartial data collection and representation. www.politico.com/news/magazin...

Latest wages v private rent inflation data. Private rents have been rising faster than wages for past year and a half and continue to do so. In latest month with data for both (Dec 2024), private rents went up by 9%, 3 percentage points higher than wages.

Excellent thread from @feliciao.bsky.social on the latest rent data.

Good to see coverage if this report. Admin & comms isnt glamorous or new - but it’s the basis of most complaints in the NHD & critical to get right. @jacoblant.bsky.social @hbuckingham.bsky.social www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Our research with @z2ktrust.bsky.social shows that the wellbeing benefits of PIP and DLA far outweigh their costs. Focusing only on cutting the benefits bill misses the economic and wellbeing value for disabled people and wider society. Read the report: www.probonoeconomics.com/more-than-mo...

an excellent thread demonstrating the importance of a) accuracy and precision in our thinking and writing and b) cheese-related puns

Great to see @markrusselluk.bsky.social, CEO @childrenssociety.bsky.social speaking at the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill evidence committee. He emphasised the importance of children's wellbeing measurement and our joint work as a coalition to fill in this missing piece of the bill.

Speaks to one of my initial hesitations about the bill - very relieved to read this, particularly with the focus on chronic anorexia.

Very grateful to have made the last day of Francis Bacon: Human Presence. A sucker punch of an exhibition.
