The only question in American politics right now is are you for or against authoritarianism? Nothing else matters.

On one hand: individual instances of guys on a burning car. On the other: mass state-sanctioned kidnappings of your neighbors — moms and dads, high school kids and farmworkers — all funded by your taxes. Don't trust any smug politician or media person who focuses on the first more than the second.
