Once again, he never came across as condescending in his words. It made me appreciate the gesture.
We wished eachother well, and he left after that. Again, I myself am not religious, but I appreciated the words all the same.

As the conversation began to close, he then asked if I'd be comfortable with him placing a hand on my shoulder and joining him in prayer. I said yes, and he proceed to pray out loud, not caring that he was surrounded by people, that he hoped for God to grant me a good life moving forward.

He was simply making his passion for his faith apparent while also respecting my own views and why I myself and not a very religious person.

And so, we proceeded to talk about our upbringings with the church, and how it had let us both down in different yet similar ways. And all the while he never came across as judgmental or preachy.

To him, love mainly came from the sort of unconditional love found in spirituality(to him specifically, Jesus Christ). My kneejerk thought was "Oh great, here we go." But he proceeded to emphasize that he wasn't actually trying to convert me; He just wanted to share life experiences.

He proceeded to ask me what I felt love was. I told him I wasn't entirely sure, but I'd like to think it has alot to do with trust and acceptance. He agreed, but then the conversation took a bit of a turn.

My best con moment was honestly just interacting with all of the different kinds of fans at PMC last year. It was so refreshing after having been around the negativity of the online toku sphere for so long.
