Could medical aid in dying be under jeopardy with the new administration? SCOTUS has given deference to state sovereignty in the past. Gorsuch has published against MAID. It is perceived as a hot button issue for “Libs.” We shall see how much weight the “will of the people” carry, I suppose.

Anyone else in @medical.bsky.social concerned rather than excited about the GLP-1 agonists? People are losing weight and getting healthy which is great, but what is being done to address the psychosocial aspects of obesity? They’re going to put their weight back on if those aren’t addressed too.
