I am currently reading Mickey 17, by Edward Ashton. Such a good story -- I've not seen anything quite like it before, and I'm totally hooked. Sometimes, though, the tension gets so thick I have to put it down for a few minutes. Lots going on. I'll have to read the follow-ons, too... #booksky

From last Saturday's Local Author Expo - Portsmouth Public Library. I didn't make a ton of sales, but I did make new contacts, got my name out there to people who'd never heard of me before, & donated a copy of my books to the Virginia Authors section, so now people can find them in the library! 😃

Didn’t make many sales @ the library event today. BUT I got my name in front of new readers, gave out lots of bookmarks, and donated a full set of my books to the local authors section of the Portsmouth Public Library. Rewarded myself with an evening of gaming with my spousal unit. Good day! 😁

Cool stuff that happened today: 1. Got off work early. 2. A stranger at the doc's office said I have a contagious smile! 3. Lab tech at the doc's office bought 1 of my books while I waited for her to draw blood. 😃 4. That squeaky noise at my rear wheel was a broken hubcap. No charge. ❤️ #Tuesday

Since waking up this morning, I've planted a patch of holy basil, 1 of dill, & 1 of summer savory, all for the pollinators. ❤️ Also planted some marigolds; not native to our region, but they do deter the moles that seem to love our yard. Now I'm wiped. Getting older is not for the faint of heart
