If I had a dollar for every time a patient or their family got aggressive with me while on the frontlines, I could have retired before the vaccine rolled out. That part of my life aged me a solid 30 years.

I’m an internal medicine hospitalist and I’m actually leaving clinical practice. It’s gotten unsustainable for multiple reasons that I won’t get into here. But my safety as a woman in this climate is one of them.

Walmart’s queue system was really smooth even though it took forever to let me in. Fought it out with Target fearing Walmart would run out but Target was a disaster. Their checkout was glitching horribly and they sold out before I could get a payment through. Walmart came through in the end.
