Funny. I read one star reviews for contractors and restaurants, but not books. I’m going to try it. I hate getting 100-150 pages in and realizing I’m wasting my time. Thanks.

This is a problem. Lame books, that is. Any suggestions to help avoid them? I spend too much time reading reviews and blurbs and still find myself with books which turn out meh.
