I'll send something through if that's OK - does it have to be new or is something from the archives acceptable?

I'm not a big fan of Explosions in the Sky, but they do a good job of playing a soundtrack that is also not yet another Trent Reznor / Atticus Ross or Nick Cave / Warren Ellis kinda deal, just for a chance (and possibly budget reasons).

It's a little like Blood Meridian but less intense. Almost; and on TV. @stoatie.bsky.social - the history has of course been condensed somewhat, but the atmosphere is excellent.

I miss the Astoria, having seen some great gigs there, not least being Throbbing Gristle of course. And I met Lemmy at a Young Gods gig there too, thanked him for telling off his fans for seig heling, and got the response "It's about rock'n'll, not politics", which is what he told them too.

See also on a smaller scale "Bless your heart" and with a different intent in the rather brutal Sharp Objects TV series on HBO.
