'The Black Cap' (1928), a collection of murder & mystery stories edited by Lady Cynthia Asquith. The title of the anthology obviously refers to the headgear adopted by a judge passing sentence of execution.

'The Ghost Book' (1926), edited by Lady Cynthia Asquith, her story 'The Corner Shop' appears under the pseudonym C. L. Ray. The story would later be included in the anonymously edited anthology 'A Century of Creepy Stories' (1934), under her own name.
