The paper they used, & the photographic illustrations (from movies etc.) were great for doing collage too, right up into the 1990s (when I still did collage).

When we got Dante from the Refuge, the young lady said:
"Always first to the bowl, at feeding time."
How right she proved to be, we had to have our supper in a different room for the first few months, otherwise he'd hop on the table & watch us.

‘almost any English person would accept ‘bully’ as a synonym for ‘Fascist’. That is about as near to a definition as this much-abused word has come’.
George Orwell, ‘What is Fascism?’ (London, Tribune, 1944).

What is the (checks name) Environment Agency actually for?
Had a very enjoyable riverside walk along the Ribble in Preston the other day, saw herons, egrets, fish jumping, 'you know how I feel', then read this.

Lucky enough to have one of his boards for BSG from 'Look-In', not as colourful as the ones you've illustrated, but very tasty worlds nevertheless!

I already did, & they trotted out the 'we're investing in getting people back to work, & we won't let anyone suffer' line - reminded me of our last (Tory) MP who slavishly voted with the government every time.
I'd hoped things would be different this time.
I've suggested that they've lost my vote.

He did, while preparing to hammer the Scots yet again, his fleet was down the coast at Grune Point apparently.
There's a modern statue of him outside the Greyhound pub in Burgh village.

My lack of diversity skills exposed.
Call myself a bibliophile, I am ashamed.

Hopefully heading to Morecambe, but they've got to do it again Tuesday night!
My mate, who'd given up, planning on giving them another try Tuesday, but says he'll blame me if it's same-old-same-old!
