Yes! Def get insurance (unless you have lots of savings). We use PetPlan & they've been great. They cover emergencies & treatment for life, which was amazing when our old boy got arthritis & needed regular (expensive) injections. Vet bills add up so quickly, but you can't not get them treatment 🤷🏻♀️

Ah, I didn't realise you were in York, too! It's so sad to see pubs that occupied really important roles in the community fold for no reason at all. Not to mention the cultural vandalism of letting historic buildings rot.
