That’s what I was getting at. The American candidates were respectable and lost, whereas we chose some crazy Tories.

Felon made president twice before the first female president. Britain doesn’t have much pedigree in this regard however with absolute weapons like Thatcher, May and Truss.

There a few ‘whys’ in principle. This structure is extremely efficient. No ohmic losses / joule heating and the exciting magnetic field is tiny. The computational power can be packed quite tightly to do tasks much more complicated than a full adder. Timescale/clock cycle is also nanoseconds.

I’m getting real tired of the depths the right-wing go to try and create false flags. They’re just sitting there, looking for the holy grail golden bigot issue to put them back in government.

There was a time, in the 2000s, when politics was relatively normal. Party leaders weren’t lunatics, talking about immigration was called racism and leaving the EU was absurd. What happened 🤷‍♂️

Why stop there, why not bring back public executions so us peasants can throw bits of carrot at the people in the stocks 🤷‍♂️

Yes, people always have that ‘control’, it’s called discrimination and coming from an MP is absurd.

51% for yes is a poor showing, 22% for not sure is even worse. If this ever gets put to a referendum, we all know how that might go.
