The reason why Bluesky is left-leaning is that Elon Musk took Twitter and turned it into a right-wing cesspool. Not sure what all the hand-wringing is about.

Trump’s waiting by the phone for Xi Jinping to call. But Beijing’s not blinking — and they’ve got more than just tariffs in their playbook. They can block US companies, squeeze rare earth exports, dump Treasuries, and hit our farmers hard. China’s playing the long game & Trump doesn’t even know it.

President Trump’s 25% tariffs on imported vehicles remain in effect despite a pullback this week on other country-based levies. Analysts are expecting massive global implications for the automotive industry due to the policies.

Zero. Zero days before he exempted phones, chips, computers and other tech.

Trump caves again. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

WAPO: “.. The exemptions appear to undermine Trump’s ‘economic revolution’ that seeks to move high-tech supply chains and parts suppliers inside the U.S. ..” 🤡 @washingtonpost.com www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

Donald Trump has made himself—and by extension, us—the laughing stock of the world.

Keep talking about the Signal security lapse at the Pentagon. The media may have forgotten about it, but the voters have not.

@rexhuppke.bsky.social: Not helping the general panic is the fact that Trump continues to utter quotes like this on live TV: “I said we're gonna try to get groceries down. Right? An old-fashioned down but a beautiful term. Eggs.” OK. Have we tried giving him a nap? www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...

As tariffs between the U.S. and China escalate, a deal seems out of reach, writes Michael Schuman. Xi will negotiate only if he “can appear at least the equal of Trump, if not the man in control. Trump’s approach so far doesn’t invite this outcome”:

So basically he moved the deck chairs around a little.

When do you think the White House will announce that they've had a beautiful call with Xi and the China tariffs are going to be lowered or paused?

Dow falls 2%, S&P nearly 3% and Nasdaq nearly 4% in early trading as investors remain skittish over Trump's trade war. www.nytimes.com/live/2025/04...

“He made 2.5 million today and he made $900 million. That’s not bad.” Sounds like market manipulation to me. That’s bad.

AMAZON'S JASSY THINKS SELLERS WILL PASS COST ON TO CUSTOMERS

Creepy as hell. 🤡

Trump: "With Iran, yeah, if it requires military, we're gonna have military. Israel will obviously be very much involved in that."

Oh don't forget that even tho trump is playing with the stock markets, signalgate is still there and your national security is still being played with Pete Hegseth still at the helm. Your safety was compromised and will continue to be compromised.

Daily reminder Hegseth committed crimes while using a Signal group chat. Recklessly sharing our critical national defense information pertaining to our military operations.

New from Trump on tariffs:

If you’re wondering why China is taking their time picking up the phone. @bloomberg.com @financialtimes.com @barrons.com

Elon Musk slammed President Trump’s top trade adviser, Peter Navarro, as “dumber than a sack of bricks” on Tuesday as tensions between the two exploded over wide-ranging tariffs that have upended the global economy.

It looks like they are really doing this. Wow this is nuts.

The Trump administration is where reputations go to die. My latest. newrepublic.com/article/1937...

Funny how Elon musk is suddenly no longer visible cheering Trump. Why? Because musk’s business partner the Chinese Communist party is outraged over Trump’s tariffs. As Steve Bannon said Musk’s paymasters are in Beijing.

Does anyone remember Signalgate?

The Trump tariff market crash continues as S&P futures fall 4% while stocks plunge over 8% in Japan, 5% in South Korea and 6% in Australia. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/06/b...
