Well, if I’m being honest, I’d like to see the bulk of what we spend on the military directed towards social programs and then TfT would be unnecessary. But that’s another discussion.

lol no it’s not. That was never the question and not what I said. I said “many.” Was making the point that TfT is a recruiting tool that brings poor people to the military where they ironically will have to use the program. I’m sorry if the subtext was too much.

I was one of those kids. My dad was an enlisted Marine for 24 years. When he was lower in the ranks, life was very tough indeed.
