I don’t think I’ve ever been so worried for a politician. But I’m so proud of you.

Oh 100% and I’ll be just fine mostly I used it for being able to see live reporting of things that were happening around the world, but I feel so bad for our especially the disabled community, the accessibility of it and popularity and being able to join in… I think it all just really sucks

I think it’s just a misinterpretation. For instance I have personal friends that I met and talk to regularly that I met through that platform. I have so many save recipes and travel ideas and puppy trading videos and more. It’s a whole world of knowledge and belonging people are losing

By posting what she did I was able to see it on my feed now I’ve found her and several people in the comments to follow. She is creating her experience!

For me if I didn’t use it there’s no way I would know anything happening on a world wide scale especially living in the south.

Oh I’m aware, most things on here are very dry sarcastic humor. Which is kinda the point

Not really it feels kinda like a blast from the past. Almost like what old Facebook was minus the personal posts. Which is VERY different from TikTok which is usually more emotive because you can see the person

Given how many people found community during Covid a time where we were cut off from others and very secluded I think it makes a lot of sense for people to mourn that community. We lack 3rd spaces as a society and for many people tik tok was that 3rd space

There’s some people sure but it’s not a praise trump game on there everyone is talking about how Erie it is the algorithm is off nothing is right and reminding everyone that trump started the ban etc

It’s not about TikTok the bill gives them the right to ban any app with information on it they disagree with it’s an infringement on our rights to have freedom of speech. Senators openly talked about it being the reason

That might be true but if you’re in a situation where you only can use a microwave it’s great to know!

I though I had more time but at least I saved all the cute little montages from when my dogs were puppies, would have been heart broken to lose them :/

I’ve finally accepted I can’t use Amazon anymore, or Whole Foods. I tried not to use it before but would for smaller authors etc. I just can’t justify it anymore at all :/

The worst part about the videos on other platforms was having to click on each video for the sound to start and to get the view of the whole video. It doesn’t have to take up the whole screen but visually and to keep attention those things did a lot!
