Has anyone posited the theory that one of Sam Presti’s long view strategies was not just to hoard draft picks/swaps, but also to assign complex protections to them, so that they eventually freeze other franchises out of future trade scenarios (since the picks seem to never convey, in perpetuity)?

I can’t watch the Heat games closely this season. It’s not the mediocrity, because I understand that they need to rebuild until an alpha joins the team; I just can’t watch these games if Rozier is in the rotation, because you can’t seriously say you’re even trying. I felt this wait re: Waiters.
